How long have you been in business?
Jennie Smith Lee has over 15 years of health insurance experience in the California market and nearly 8 years of experience in the national, online, health insurance market. Other agents within our firm have as much as 30 years of insurance experience. None of our agents have less than 5 years of specific experience in the health insurance markets.
What is your primary product or service?
Our firm specializes in placing coverage on people with multiple, serious, pre-existing health conditions. We not only write traditional "underwritten" health plans; we also enroll people on all of the new "Health Care Reform" government plans, such as HIPPA, PCIP, Medi-Cal and the state managed high risk insurance pools.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are one of the VERY FEW firms that will deal with the new "Health Care Reform" government plans. Most insurance agents refuse to assist clients in this area, because of the complexity of those plans and the substantial effort that it takes to get a client approved. Transitions works with a professional "Advocacy & Consulting Firm," that specializes in assisting people in qualifying for many forms of government benefits such as Medi-Cal, SSI Disability, HIPPA plans, Veteran's Aid & Attendance Benefits & Medi-Cal Long Term Care Benefits.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have specialized agents that serve clients in multiple states. Presently, we are based in Placer County California, but are able to provide our services to clients in multiple states.

Transitions Insurance & Financial Services, is a California domiciled, Limited Liability Company. Transitions is owned by a group of private investors and Jennie Smith Lee serves as The President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm.
What are your hours of operation?
General office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, Transitions agents are generally available for consultation via telephone 7 days a week, from 7:00 AM Pacific Standard Time to 9:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. Calls for agent assistance should be made to our toll free number: 1-800-576-0760. Your call will then be forwarded to an "agent on call," who will generally respond back to you within the next 15 to 30 minutes from the time of your call. Most applications are taken over the phone, or submitted through the Internet. Generally, there is no need to meet with a "salesperson" in your home or office, thereby assurring your privacy and peace of mind.
